Back at the Bataclan: Eagles of Death Metal make emotional return to concert venue just one month after ISIS massacre in Paris

The Eagles of Death Metal wept openly as they made a return to the Bataclan theatre, just a month after 90of their own fans were gunned down in an ISIS-led attack during their concert. The Californian band spent time today standing outside the venue, reading some of the cards and touchingtributes left by fans and supporters. The group was playing the venue when the terrorists struck, killing 90 people, including their merchandisingmanager Nick Alexander, 36.Lead singer Jesse Hughes was overcome with emotion as he stood in front of the venue with his hands in his pockets. The band ignored the rain as they stood just yards away from where they were playing when the attack started. They were just minutes into their sold-out concert when the sound of automatic gunfire rang out.Clearly moved by the floral tributes and messages left outside the building, the Californian band spent nearly 15 minutes reading cards left at the scene of the worst atrocity of the November 13 attacks on the city.As a gentle drizzle fell, Hughes placed a single flower on the sea of bouquets spilling out onto the road in front of the venue in eastern Paris.
