The Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja has asked Honourable Abdullahi Bello, a member of the House of Representative representing Okene/Ogori-Magongo on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, to vacate the seat at the federal hallowed chamber.
The election of APC federal lawmaker, who is also a former speaker of the Kogi state House of Assembly was challenged by Honourable Tijani Damisa.
In its verdict in the appeal put forward by Damisa, the court ruled that election be conducted in Okene/Ogori-Magongo federal constituency within 90 days, Vanguard reports.
The court also barred the lawmaker from participating in the rerun election.
